Professor Rath is presently working as Head of National Cancer Institute, India & Chief of Dr. B. R. A. IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi. He is an eminent clinician and researcher. He heads a number of committees constituted by the Govt of India for cancer treatment and research. He is the author of "Textbook of radiation oncology: Principles and practice". He has published more than 300 articles in international peer reviewed journal. He has received a number of prestigious awards including DSc from Pravara Institute.
